At Hamilton & Manuele Orthodontics, we offer Invisalign Teen and HM Ortho Aligners as a more attractive, less-invasive alternative to braces for kids and teens! Fast, Predictable Results
Using the iTero Element® scanner, our Las Vegas orthodontists can create a highly accurate 3D model of your child’s smile. This data helps us customize the aligners to fit your child’s teeth perfectly. After the treatment begins, we will ask your child to wear each aligner for approximately 2 weeks before progressing to the next one in the series.
Each set of Invisalign or HM Ortho Aligners are designed to apply the perfect amount of pressure in a certain area of the mouth, gradually and precisely guiding your child’s teeth into the proper position. The process works up to two times faster than traditional braces, with far less discomfort during treatment. With this innovative technology, you’ll even see what your child’s new smile will look like before treatment begins.
Unmatched Comfort & Freedom
Thanks to these clear, removable aligners, our younger patients achieve excellent results and can enjoy all the benefits of a stunning smile without inconveniencing their lifestyle.
This will allow your child to continue enjoying all their favorite foods and beverages without disrupting the treatment. Invisalign or HM Ortho Aligners is also a good choice if your child play sports since they don’t have
to worry about protecting their braces during a game or practice.

You also won’t have to worry about painful bracket adjustments or metal wires poking your child’s teeth and gums. Your child may experience mild discomfort when they start wearing their first set of aligners, but this should fade within a few days as their mouth adjusts to them.
What is the Difference Between Invisalign and HM Ortho Aligners?
Will Insurance Pay for Invisalign or HM Ortho Aligners?
With most insurance providers, you’ll get the same coverage for Invisalign and HM Ortho Aligners that you would for braces. Typically, this means at least a portion of your treatment will be covered, depending on the terms of your specific plan. At Hamilton & Manuele Orthodontics, we accept most insurance policies and offer flexible financing options to help keep your family’s orthodontic care within reach.
If you have any questions about payment and financing options, our Las Vegas orthodontic team will gladly explain your insurance and help maximize your benefits.
How Do I Maintain My Aligners?
Invisalign and HM Ortho Aligners are much easier to keep clean than metal braces. Your child will need to brush their aligners every morning when they wake up and every night before they go to bed. Our experienced team recommends using a soft-bristled toothbrush and avoiding abrasive cleaning solutions to prevent damage to their aligners. We’ll ensure your child receives a goodie bag of helpful hygiene tools and personalized instructions to care for their teeth and aligners while in orthodontic treatment.
It will be important for your child to take out their aligners before eating, place them in a retainer case provided, and brush their teeth before putting them back in. This will prevent food crumbs and bacteria from getting trapped in their teeth and causing an infection.
If your child is involved in contact sports (football, wrestling, boxing, etc) ask us about mouthguard recommendations. Your child will need to wear their aligners 20 to 22 hours per day to maximize the tooth movement with each aligner.
How Soon Can I Receive My Aligners?
By choosing HM Ortho Aligners, you can expect to receive your child’s first set of aligners within just a few business days, compared to the 8-12 week wait time with Invisalign. This means that Dr. Hamilton and Dr. Manuele can deliver the desired treatment outcomes without making patients wait unnecessarily.
What if My Child Loses Their Aligners?
We understand that most kids lead busy social lives, and accidents can happen. Please let us know if your child misplaces their aligner or throws them away by mistake. We may advance them to the next aligner in the series or provide a replacement for your convenience.
Can My Teen Play Sports With Invisalign or HM Ortho Aligners?
Yes! It’s far safer to play sports with Invisalign aligners than with metal braces. Since the trays are easily removable, your teen can replace them with a mouthguard during their game or practice. If this doesn’t leave them enough time to wear the aligners for at least 20 hours per day, they can also wear a mouthguard over the aligners. Wearing a mouthguard for contact sports like football, rugby, boxing, and wrestling is especially crucial in providing protection for your child’s mouth and teeth.
